Weighed in this morning and gained 0.6kg.
Pathetic. I am pathetic.
I have been doing WW for 12 weeks now, and lost a dismal 2.1kg.
Most people have gotten to 10kg by then!!
I am tired, depressed.. I just want to cry.
Why do I do this.
I have been going to WW for like 7 years off and on, and I have never gotten my 5kg bookmark.
Even though I lost like 20kg on my own 2 years ago, I have never been successful on WW.
I quit, I give up. I stop going to meetings. Yet I know it works.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!!!

Hi Nikki, thanks for the comment on my blog!
Nope, you're not pathetic, just human :) I assure you there are plenty of others who struggle and slog on despite very small losses. It's the fact that you know it can work that has kept you at it for 12 weeks, and kept me at it for about a year while I slowly regained nearly everything I'd lost in the previous 4 months. Not that I advocate spending a year dithering about not actually losing anything :P
I've been doing not so well the last week or so, tired, unable to focus and reaching for the comfort food something fierce. Here's hoping the week ahead is better for both of us!
Cheers
Mim
You ARE NOT pathetic.
You should be giving yourself a huge pat on the back for wanting to make changes with your health.
Keep persevering and making those changes, and it WILL pay off.
Just remember like the above poster said, we are all human, and we do make mistakes. Take those mistakes and use it as a way to push yourself more. Write down how you feel everytime you feel low about your weight, and then use it as a way to reflect upon everytime you want to give up.
You can do it. I am like you also, trying to lose weight. I saw your blog link on the forum, and decided to browse it.
You also live a suburb away from me, which makes me feel like I'm not the only one trying to live a better life.
Don't give up.
xx.
Don't give up. Losing weight is a hard battle. If it was easy, it wouldn't be an industry.
You are right WW works, but you need to WANT it to happen... and I mean really want it. I lost 15kg the first time I did WW... I wanted it so bad... but then life got comfortable, moved in with boyfriend and got lazy and before I knew what was going on, I had put on 8kg.... I have been struggling for about a year now, and managing to lose a few kilo's then putting it back on again.
At least I maintain!! hehehe.
If the time is not right, then it probably won't happen, cause you're just not that into it. you know what you should be doing, but it gets to a point of wanting to do it.
I wish you good luck matey...
And I hope that you managed to get that 3 week period sorted out - that would have driven me crazy after 4 days!!
Take care of yourself.
xx
PS... I have changed my blog address:

Hi Nikki
I am hearing you. I have been wanting to lose weight for a few years now. Join WW loose a couple of kilos, muck around go on and off give up then 3 months later I am back there doing the same thing again. I am now too embarrassed to go to ww as I think I am a failure and they must think here she comes again. I too know what to do I just gotta do it.
good luck with your weight loss journey. PS I found your blog thru the Weight loss forum.
where are you my beautiful lady? :)
i miss you! and you are NOT pathetic.. i love ya!
